<p>Golmaal is a successful comedy franchise that Rohit Shetty developed years before he established his police world. One of the most anticipated movies of the year is Golmaal 5, the fifth installment in the series, and Shreyas Talpade has provided a significant update on the forthcoming follow-up.</p>

<p>Golmaal Returns (2008) saw Shreyas join the Golmaal series, taking Sharman Joshi’s place. In the final three sequels, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3 (2010), and Golmaal Again (2017), he portrayed Laxman. Shreyas discussed Golmaal 5 with News18 and said that the film may be released on Diwali 2025.</p>

<p>Shreyas said to the site during the interview, “Rohit and Ajay bhai had mentioned that we would soon be filming for Golmaal 5 just before the epidemic. Regretfully, the epidemic struck, causing complete chaos. He just said that we will be doing Golmaal 5. I’m hoping that we do it again the next year and that Golmaal 5 will be shown during Diwali. Shreyas went on to say that they hold Golmaal in the highest regard. “Especially after the last Golmaal, we were sad to see it end. We were having so much fun on the sets that we couldn’t even face each other when we were doing our lines for fear of laughing ourselves silly. We are all very excited about Golmaal and we can’t wait for it,” the actor said.</p>
<p>Shreyas Talpade made it through a serious heart attack.</p>
<p>Shreyas had an almost deadly heart attack in December 2023 while filming Welcome to the Jungle, but she made it through with angioplasty. Shreyas declared himself clinically dead in January 2024 after his heart stopped beating for ten minutes. In an interview with the Times of India, Shreyas said that cardiac problems run in his family’s family and he even advocated for not taking one’s health for granted. Shreyas recounted his near-death experience and said, “In a literal sense, I was dead. A major cardiac arrest occurred. A wake-up call would be putting it mildly. This is my second opportunity at living.” Regarding employment, Shreyas is set to reprise his role as Allu Arjun’s voice in the eagerly anticipated Pushpa 2 The Rule.
