The hilarious banter between Sarfaraz Khan and Shoaib Bashir in Ranchi becomes viral. “Kaise Khelna Hai Pata Hai, Hindi Bhi Aati Hai.”

In the current fourth Test match between England and India in Ranchi, England’s young player Shoaib Bashir did not contribute to their first innings total, but his conversation with Sarfaraz Khan has gone popular on social media.

After Ollie Robinson was removed from the game on 58, Bashir, who was just a Test player, came in to bat at number 10. He just lasted two deliveries when his misguided effort at a slog was caught off Ravindra Jadeja’s ball.

Sarfaraz, positioned at front short leg, teased Bashir as he prepared to take his first delivery.

This is how the discussion unfolded.

Sarfaraz: Yea, but kaise khelna hai ise toh pata hai. Hindi bhi aati hai badhiya (He is a skilled player and knows the language).

Bashir: “Aati hai thodi thodi” (I have some knowledge of Hindi).

At the JSCA International Stadium Complex on Saturday morning, during the morning session of Day 2, England was bowled out for 353 in their first innings.

India’s response saw an early shocker when England’s James Anderson dismissed skipper Rohit Sharma for only two runs, extending his lackluster performance.

During the lunch break, India were playing steadily, with Shubman Gill on four and opener Yashasvi Jaiswal on 27 off 38 thanks to five fours.

On Day 1, England’s top order was destroyed by debutant Akash Deep with the new ball, leaving them in a precarious situation. Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope, and Zak Crawley were eliminated by him, leaving the visitors at 57/3. By lunch, they had improved to 112/5.

Joe Root gave them a much-needed boost with a superb century, forming strong partnerships with Robinson and Ben Foakes.

After rallying to 225/5, England fell to 245/7.

Robinson and Root battled valiantly to finish the day at 302/7. Before splitting up, the two finally scored 102 runs for the eighth wicket.

Robinson, who was hitting well at58, tried a reverse sweep but gloved it and was caught behind, resulting in another slip that saw Root run out of partners at 122 and become undefeated.
