The actor spoke candidly about the difficult times he and Bipasha experienced after Devi’s open heart surgery while discussing the movie in an interview.</p>

<p>Karan disclosed that he has named his little girl a “fighter” in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. If you were aware of her background, you would know that despite just being 14 months old, she had to have open heart surgery since she was born with two holes in her heart. Mamta, who works for the production company Marflix, said, “She’s a fighter,” when she first heard about it. “Dude, she’s the smallest fighter we have, and she was the first one,” I said. She resembles the fighter, and she and the fighter have kind of blended together.</p>
<p>The actor also discussed how Bipasha Basu and he handled it jointly. Well, it wasn’t until the third day after her delivery that we really found out. I would just say that respect for all parents, guy, and a certain amount of additional strength are sort of necessary to be a parent. And I believe it was a very challenging circumstance,” he said.</p>
<p>Three months after their baby was born, Bipasha disclosed in 2023 that she had heart surgery. Devi’s heart has two holes in it from birth. The actress said that Devi was born with a ventricular septal defect (VSD). She also said that the procedure was performed and that it took six hours to complete. The actress said that the surgery was successful and Devi is recovering, saying that their daughter’s presence in the operating room was when their lives paused.</p>
<p>On November 12, 2022, Bipasha Basu and her husband, actor Karan Singh Grover, welcomed their daughter Devi.
